Having a Life

So I need to update the life blog. Still in Florida. That's all.

Just kidding! I would post more, but I like to describe pictures. I miss my camera and phone - camera is in a box and phone, I gave up because of the cost. Soon we will have our own place again and won't have to say, "It's in the box." to answer the question ,"Where is...(inanimate object)?"
Yes we are still in FL living with the 'rents.
Bubba played a whole season of soccer and Roy coached his team. The team did really well, won all games but one. MJ is in gymnastics and is all sorts of bendy. She can and does flippers all over the yard with her friends. She has six girl friends she plays with everyday.
Bubba and MJ got their first FL report cards - honor roll for both!! Bubba has been transferred to a new gifted class, it's a lot harder, but he is enjoying the class.
I have been working at a wonderful "business" and about to go work for a building company. (More details will come after I start.)
Roy is still looking for a job every day, but has been an amazing Dad in the mean time. He has been helping Bubba adjust to gifted classes and helping both kids with their science projects. He has also become the handy man at the house - painting, toilets, fans...he has replaced or fixed.
Veterans day was a tear jerker, since Poppy is a WWII Army Vet, my Dad is a Navy Vet and Roy is a Navy Vet. Went to church in the park (picnic style church), it was a lot of fun. Saw people we haven't seen in a long time. Ate really good food and played in the park. Realized how small a world we live in.
I was in a car accident  last week. Boo for the car and the lady that screeched to a stop as soon as the light turned yellow. I'm OK though, the car is not.
Lots of things are going on and I'll try to keep up. There are moments that I say, "Ooh, I need to write that down." Especially, when the kids do or say something off the wall. I just forget. No promises, but I'm working on it.

It sounds like you are making things work and you are all together. And, really that is all that matters. Congrats on the job, the honor roll and the sports! Yay Roy! For being such a great dad.
