In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response. At least that is what I get the gist of it is. If you want to know more - click on the flowery picture.
Do you like winters?
I have to say a big fat NO, since I grew up in Florida and am now living in Indiana. The icy roads that I have hurt car on every winter and the snow days that are not as fun as they look on TV. When I first moved here, I thought, "Yay the kids get to see what snow is and we can go sledding." Then reality set in and I couldn't drive down my street because my car would get stuck in the icy snowbanks and our HOA is terrible and don't pay for anyone to plow until a day later. Okay, I will stop complaining now. My hubby left this morning for a permanent job in Mississippi and I have to be Super Mom by myself through the winter - I just realized. We are still married and are doing the long distance, see each other every so often thing for a bit. We have done it before, it just sucks! I will try to be more chipper in the future Fridays, I promise!

I like winter :)
I like winter, unless it's March...I am usually done by then.
Lived 38 years in Chicago. I am very happy to be in California. I was actually kind of happy that I didn't have to teach my kids how to drive in the snow. One more worry!! I actually didn't mind driving in the snow, it was always a challenge I accepted and won!
Sorry about the long distance :(
Yeah, I'm not a fan of snow either. Thankfully I grew up in a place with a very mild rainy climate! Three years in Boston was enough to cure me of the change in seasons! lol
Typically I'm a fan of whatever the season isn't. It's fall now, so I'm looking forward to snow and winter. I LOVE the Christmas season. I love curling up with a good book or magazine in front of the fire when it's cold outside. In about March, I'm sick of it and looking forward to planting things outside and getting some warmer weather coming.
I have an award for you, come on over and pick it up.
